CRYST SWS

CRYST SWS® is a swellable bentonite water stop tape for sealing vertical and horizontal structural joints, which are exposed constantly or temporarily to water. CRYST SWS® Swelling Tape is designed for use in non-movement joints of concrete. In contact with water, the reaction of the tape is activated and the tape starts swelling. Due to the swelling pressure in the construction joint, leads to penetration into cracks, joints, cracks, cavities, and seals the area.

Swelling tape is used for waterproof vertical or horizontal structural joints:

  • Building foundations, slabs, retaining walls, basements, precast panels, tunnels, and lift pits.
  • Storage water tanks, swimming pools, water treatment tanks, sewage, and manholes.
  • Concrete pipes.
  • Other similar non-moving cold construction joints.
  • Fast and reliable swelling performance.
  • High swelling rate.
  • Approved for use in drinking water reservoirs.
